Creating an Account

You can create an account for PBO Tools either through our application or via our website, allowing you flexibility in how you choose to access our services.

Creating an Account Through PBO Tools

To register a new account using the PBO Tools application, please follow these detailed steps:

  1. Open PBO Tools:

    • Launch the latest version of PBO Tools. You will be presented with several options.

  2. Register a New Account:

    • Press [2] to initiate the registration process.

  3. Enter Your Email Address:

    • Provide a valid email address. This is crucial as it will be used for password resets and important communications.

  4. Create a Username:

    • Choose a unique username. It must be at least 3 characters long.

  5. Create a Secure Password:

    • Create a secure password. PBO Tools enhances security by checking your password against Have I Been Pwned to ensure it has not been exposed in any data breaches.

  6. Enter Your License Key:

    • If you have a license key, press 'Y' and enter it. If you do not have one, press 'N' and a Free Edition license key will be automatically generated and assigned to your account.

  7. Completion:

    • Upon successful registration, a message will prompt: Registration successful. Please restart the application From there, your credentials will be saved in %localappdata% and you will be logged into PBO Tools automatically.
